SBS K-Pop Star

I've been keeping my eyes on this show since there were sooo many young and talented singers joined the audition and amazed so many viewers, even top Hollywood stars like Ashton Kutcher and Eric Benet were also impressed by their talent.

FYI (in case you don't know), SBS K-Pop Star is a new SBS TV Program, looking for the next big KPOP STAR, and held in collaboration with the Big Three: JYP, YG, and SM Entertainment. The winner of this program will receive a large cash prize of KRW 300 millions, an international album release deal, and a chance to enter the ultimate star training system under JYP, YG, or SM Entertainment!

The judges were also no joke. They play an important role in the K-Pop Entertainment Industries, and also a Very Important Person in the Big 3 Companies. First Judge is Jin-Young Park (JYP), a singer, songwriter, dancer, record producer and the current CEO and founder of JYP Entertainment. Second Judge is Yang Hyun-Seok (Papa YG), a member of Seo Taiji & Boys, the founder, owner, and CEO of YG Entertainment. And the last but not least judge is one of SM Entertainment and Korean most successful singer, known as "Queen of Korean Pop Music" : BoA. Wow, such an amazing line-up, rite? :)

Now that we all have known about the judges, let's talk about the contestant. My fave one is Park Ji Min, She's still 15 yo yet has an UBER amazing voice.

My second fave contestant is the 秀pearls. I knew them from 2PM Taecyeon's tweet @taeccool. Because of that, I'm getting so curious about this group and finally found the link (most of the links were blocked in my country btw).

The 秀pearls is a group consisting of 4 members Michelle Lee, Park Ji-Min (same girl who covers Adele's), Lee Jung-Mi and Lee Seung-Ju. They cover SNSD's 'The Boys' in a Jazz version and I was like WOW with their performance. Even BoA can't stop saying 'Saranghaeyo' to them. LOL

I've been listening to this song and also watching this MV quite often lately. I loooove everything about this MV. I love the outfits... I mean, who doesn't fall in love with tons of Balmain suppa adorable Jacket collections-and others famous designer collections-worth about some hundred-thousands dollar (about some millions Won). And as usual, it goes very well with 2NE1's personality concept (me-full of-envious-here). Yes, they're really a fashionistas, aren't they? Even me, for now, don't dare to dream about having one of them (Balmain Jacket). Maybe later, very soon I hope, Amiiiin :)

But the best thing of all about this MV is the song itself!! It's nice to know that 2NE1 breaking their 'baddest female' habit occasionally by singing such a melancholic smooth ballad that went along smoothly with CL, Bommie, Dara, and Minzy's voices.

The song was written and produced by Teddy Park. It is their first single to have no auto tune. According to the CEO of YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun Suk, "2NE1’s new song counter feeds the people with an analogue sound unlike the majority who used strong electronics and house music and maybe that is why Will I. The lyrics is also not a joke. I don't understand Korean, but according to the translations, this song tells about a girl who's been in a relationship, but she felt that something's missing from her life. And she doesn't know why, she feels like a stranger for herself. Even though her boyfriend is always be there for her, she still feels so lonely. Therefore, she feels so sorry towards him. (I'm so sorry Belle's, for using so many 'feels' words, since it's all about girl's feeling :p)

bulan besar nih

2 November saya di-yudisium which means saya sudah resmi lulus dari Kampus saya tercinta. :) dan Alhamdulillah lagi saya bisa masuk 10 besar di angkatan saya. terima kasih Ya Allah atas keberuntungan yang engkau limpahkan kepada hamba. :)

10 November saya wisudaaaa! Alhamdulillah. saya lulus kuliah juga. :)

saya hanya berharap semoga ini menjadi awal langkah saya, dan menjadi wisuda pertama saya dari wisuda-wisuda lain yang akan saya lewati di kemudian hari. Amin. :)

'karena ilmu takkan pernah putus'

setelah itu sisa bulan ini saya lewati dengan kesibukan masalah pemberkasan yg sangat menyita waktu, tenaga, dan biaya. tapi Alhamdulillah saya bisa melaluinya juga.

saya sedih sekali. ibu saya masuk rumah sakit dan harus dioperasi. T_T

cepet sembuh ibu. semoga ibu ngga sakit2 lagi yaa. Amin. :)

Alhamdulillah saya kebetulan ada di rumah, jadinya selama ibu dirawat saya bisa full menjaga ibu saya di rumah sakit. hmm. apalagi yang bisa saya berikan kepada ibu saya, selain hal kecil ini. semoga anakmu ini bisa jadi anak yang berbakti ya bu. Amin. :)

tanggal 16 december (kalo ngga salah) akhirnya penantian saya dan teman2 selama ini datang juga. yuppss DROPPING INSTANSI. Alhamdulillah lagi saya ditempatkan di instansi idaman saya. how lucky me. sekali lagi, terima kasih Ya Allah atas karunia yg tidak ada putusnya ini. :)

review (part 1)

sesuai janji saya, saya akan menceritakan beberapa kejadian yang ngga penting, yang terjadi selama saya menelantarkan blog saya ini. here they are. :)

bulan yang sangat sibuk. di bulan puasa ini, saya benarbenar disibukkan oleh yang namanya laporan pkl. tiiddaaakkk.

setelah selesai direvisi dan disetuji oleh dosen pembimbing, sekarang tiba giliran revisi by dosen penilai. dan sayangnya, di saat teman2 saya sudah pulang kampung untuk menikmati bukapuasa dirumah, saya baru bisa pulang H-5 Idul Fitri karena kebetulan sekali dosen penilai saya sedang ada dinas luar.

jadinya yah, tandatangan beliau baru bisa saya dapatkan pada detikdetik terakhir, H-2 menjelang deadline. fiuhh.

Alhamdulillah, rasa lelah itu terbayar sudah, karena 'sepertinya' saya mendapat nilai yang lumayan dalam laporan pkl saya. (perkiraan saya saja kalo melihat ipk saya yang naik setelah ditambah dgn nilai laporan pkl saya). Thanks God. :-)

entah harus senang atau sedih.

senang karena ini syarat terakhir kita lulus.

sedih karena sebentar lagi akan berpisah dgn teman2.

sayang sekali.

tapi Alhamdulillah saya dan sebagian besar teman saya dapat melaluinya. sedih juga, karena beberapa harus mengulang ujian kompre. tapi Alhamdulillah akhirnya kami semua luluss. :-)

di bulan ini juga saya-untuk pertamakalinya dalam hidup- SAKIT CACAR!

rasanya ngga enak bangeeett. terisolasi. susah gerak. huhu. tapi untunglah penyakit yang saya derita cepet sembuhnya dan ngga sempat menyebar ke area wajah. (saya tidak bisa membayangkan jika itu terjadi).

special thanks untuk semua pihak yang dengan sangat antusias membantu memberitahu saya cara penanggulangan pertama untuk penyakit cacar ini. muchas gracias. :)

oyaa di bulan ini saya sempat bertengkar dgn salah satu sahabat baik saya, huhu. dan saya menyesal telah melakukannya. semoga tidak terulang kembali.
